Now many of you may have heard of this before, it’s not only a story of the past but also occurring in the present and will also occur in the future.
It’s soul or spirit travel, most people know and believe that we have something inside of our bodies that is the real us, what basically controls
our brains and therefore our entire body. The person isn’t the body but the spirit inside of it, the body is just a vessel which allows us to roam the
human world. The soul/spirit/athma or whatever you want to call it is said to leave our body as soon as we die, but here is where our topic comes in.

Lots of people around the world have been rumored to have been able to travel outside of body as a soul/spirit. Some say they did so accidentally while others claim to have done it on purpose. Those who say they did so purposely explain how Soul Travel works. Basically it is a doorway already present in the body for the soul to be able to travel, but like any door it has a lock, and to be able to open the lock is very hard.

In ancient Egypt they called the soul “ba” and many who travel soul traveled accidentally ended up dead as they were unable to re-enter their body. So a type of stand(uncomfortable) to place under one’s head was made by the wizards that would prevent the soul from leaving the body; knowingly or accidentally.

Many people around the world have been known to be dead in their sleep for no reason, it is usually assumed it was their time, or other reasons but one possible reason is because they were unable to re-enter their bodies. Soul travel is said to be very insightful as you can travel any part of the universe and meet anyone you want; dead or alive(meet but not communicate).

EXPERIENCE
Not many can do this at will as it is a very hard task, and even if you can manage to exit the body you still have the harder part; returning inside the body. Though I have not been able to do this myself my dad has. He says it happened when he was a boy around 11 or 12, one night as he was sleeping he said his spirit accidentally exited his body and he was no longer asleep, he says he viewed his own body sleeping next to this brothers in a third person view. He said as a spirit he could basically fly anywhere he wanted but not communicate with the living. He said he saw many souls of different colors flying in the air just as he was. And after flying around for what seemed like an hour he said he came back to his own house and tried entering his body. He said it didn’t work initially and he tried many things and claimed that it was as if he had lots of keys but none of the keys opened the door. He explained a sensation as if he were fading and could tell that if he didn’t re-enter he would die. At last after being so scared and trying so many keys he said he was finally able to get inside his body and suddenly woke up startled. He said that one of the dangerous things a person can do is soul traveling but also at the same time is one of the most insightful things.
